It's Almost Time for Camp

It's nearing my favorite time of year: wheelchair sports camp. Not too long ago, I received the volunteer sign-up form in the mail and I can honestly say that I am very much looking forward to another year at camp.
I've been going to camp as either a camper or volunteer for roughly 15 years now. I've watched many of the campers grow up, head off to college, and then return to volunteer years later and in a lot of ways it's like going home for me. Camp is one of the few places I truly feel like I can blend in as well as make a difference.
I was a little doubtful about whether or not I would be able to attend this year since I'm switching jobs and therefore forfeiting the ten days of paid vacation I would have used to attend camp. However, Creighton has the ever–so–awesome policy of giving me 6.67 hours of vacation time for every month I work there. I did the math and, come July, I'll have nearly enough time to cover the week of camp paid.
In the meantime I'll have to develop a more efficient way of getting camp photos to everyone that doesn't involve sucking huge quantities of bandwidth from my website.
You better come at least one more year! It will be my last one.
Hey Levi,
It's been great getting to know you and being friends with you. I know you may think this is weird but if I come back as a volunteer I might need you to help me do something that I was going to this year and never got the chance to, anyway I hope I come back next year cause I think it would be fun. I also hope you come back next year and the other two guys I want to come back next year I hope they do too. Hope to see you next year.
your friend,
