Why My Friends are Awesome

I just wanted to announce that I have really awesome friends. My friend Kara sent me this really neat postcard that traveled 8,808 miles from Australia to get to me. In this world of technology and information overload there's something very soothing about holding a postcard in your hand that someone sent just for you. No forwards, no "If you send this to 100 people.." just a simple, handwritten message to let you know that, for a few minutes out of their day, someone was taking time to think about you and what they want to say to you. For some reason, I find this to be utterly amazing. Thank you, Kara; it means a lot to me that you would take the time to write. G'day!
